Volodymyr V. Zozulya

Volodymyr V. Zozulya is currently working at the Centro de Investigacion Cientifica de Yucatan, A.C., Mexico. He received the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the Institute for Problems in Machinery, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Ukraine, in 1984 and the D.S. degree in physics and mathematics from the Institute of Mechanics, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Ukraine, in 1992. Professor Zozulya has published more than 150 papers in international journals and 4 books on the topics of structural-, solid- and fracture-mechanics and applied mathematics. He has been a Member of the National Committee on Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, Ukraine, since 1996 and the National Researcher Association (SNI), Mexico, since 1999. He is an Editorial Member of the journal International Applied Mechanics. Zozulya was awarded the prize of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in the field of theoretical and applied mechanics in 2005 and the State Prize of Ukraine in he field of science and engineering in 2009.
