Robert Szabo
Robert Szabo serves as an Associate Professor at the Department of Telecommunications and Media Informatics (TMIT), Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME). He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in E.E. from BME in 1996 and 2002, respectively. He was the President of the Telecommunications Section of the Scientific Association for Infocommunications, Hungary, between 2005 and 2007. He was the Deputy Head of the Department between 2008-2010. He is the Head of the High Speed Networks Laboratory (http://www.hsnlab.hu) at BME, since 2007. His main research interests are architectures, protocols, and performance of communication networks.
