Ricardo E. Fretes

Ricardo E. Fretes studied medicine at the Medicine School of the National University of Cordoba, Argentina. Then, he obtained his Ph.D. degree from the National University of Córdoba, Córdoba, Argentina, and specialized in cell biology and histology of Chagas disease and placenta in 1989. Moreover, Fretes has developed an academic career, and now he is a Full-Time Associate Professor at Cell Biology Histology and Embryology Department of the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Córdoba, Argentina. His research interest is focused on structural and molecular histology of Chagas disease and placenta.
