Jie Han

Jie Han received a B.S. degree in chemistry from Wuhan University, Wuhan, China, in 1994. In 2003, he gained his Ph.D. degree from Chengdu Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai, China. From 2004 to 2005, he worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Hong Kong, Ma Liu Shui, China. Currently, Han serves as an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemistry, Nankai University, Tianjin, China. His scientific work has focused on the synthesis, structure, and properties of functional organic compounds, especially liquid crystals and supramolecular chemistry materials.
