Marcelo Francisco de Moura
Marcelo Francisco de Moura received Aggregation in mechanical engineering (2011) and Ph.D. degree in mechanical behaviour of composite materials (1996) from Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, Portugal. Moura serves as Associate Professor with Aggregation at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, Portugal. His main research areas are mechanical behaviour of anisotropic materials—composites, wood, and bone; fracture mechanics; bonded joints; cohesive damage models; continuum damage mechanics. Moura participated in 24 national and international research projects, being a Project Leader of six of them. Moura published two books entitled Materials Compósitos—Materiais, Fabrico e Comportamento Mecânico and Juntas Adesivas Estruturais.
