Fernando V. Paulovich

Fernando V. Paulovich was born in Bauru, Brazil, in 1977. He obtained his B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer sciences from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), Brazil, studying distributed systems and computer networks. He received his Ph.D. degree in computer sciences from Mathematical and Computer Sciences Institute (ICMC) of University of São Paulo (USP), São Carlos, SP, Brazil, with an internship at Delft University of Technology (TU-Delft), Delft, The Netherlands, working with computer graphics and visualization. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor at ICMC/USP, and his research interest involves visualization, visual data mining, and visual analytics.
