Bharat Raj Singh
Bharat Raj Singh was born in 1947 in India. He received a B.E. degree (mech.) from SVNIT, Gujarat University, Surat in 1972, an M.E. degree (analysis and design) from MNNIT, Allahabad University, Allahabad in 1988, and a Ph.D. degree from GB Technical University, Lucknow in 2011, all in India. Dr. Singh has approximately a 4-decade experience pertaining to industry, administration, and academics, served for 32 years in various governmental organizations, and retired as Managing Director from UP Rajkiya Nirman Nigam, Lucknow, India. He has been serving for the last 9 years in academics as a Professor and an HOD mechanical engineer, and now serves as a Director (R&D) at the School of Management Sciences, Lucknow, India. Dr. Singh has earned credit for the developmental works in the State of Uttar-Pradesh. Dr. Singh is a recipient of many recognitions and awards such as Governor's Awards in 1965, Best officer Award in 1981, Samaj Sri National Award in 2004, Chief Minister of UP recognition in 2003, and Shiksha Gaurav 2012 Award in 2012. He published more than 70 papers in leading international and national journals, conferences, symposiums, and seminars. He takes credit for publishing 3-book and 5-book chapters. His areas of specialization are UCM processes, industrial engineering, thermodynamics and automobiles, research field in sustainable energy resources, and environment and development of zero-pollution air engines. He is a member of editorial / advisory boards of about 20 leading international journals, reviewer of many journals such as ASME, USA IMechE, UK, and Elsevier, and became Fellow Member of Institution of Engineers (FIE) in 1985 and IAENG-105641 (M) in 2010.
