Weimin Han

Weimin Han received the Ph.D. degree in mathematics from the University of Maryland, College Park, Md, USA, in 1991. He has been a faculty member at the Department of Mathematics, Uinversity of Iowa, since 1991, and then became a Full Professor there in 1999. Currently, he is the Director of the Interdisciplinary Program in applied mathematical and computational sciences of the University of Iowa. His research interests include numerical analysis, numerical solution of variational inequalities, computational mechanics, computational engineering, biomedical imaging, bioluminescence tomography, as well as numerical solution of inverse problems.
