Davide Franco

Davide Franco was born in Vicenza, Italy, in 1964. He received the Physics degree (summa cum laude) from the University of Padova (Italy) in 1989, and the PhD in Mathematics (summa cum laude) from SISSA-ISAS (Trieste, Italy) in 1994, under the supervision of Ph. Ellia. He was Assistant Professor at the University of Ferrara (1996-1999), Associate Professor at the University of Napoli "Federico II" (1999-2006). He is currently full Professor of Mathematics at the University of Napoli "Federico II". His main mathematical interests are in algebraic geometry, with emphasis on Hodge Theory, vanishings results, space curves and small codimensional manifolds.
