Luciana Ghermandi has a Ph.D. degree in biology and works as a Researcher at CONICET (Argentina). She works in arid and semiarid grasslands of Northwestern Patagonia where vegetation and disturbances, such as fire, are regulated by the weather and its anomalies. Her study areas are vegetation and seed bank dynamics and fire and invasion ecology. Her papers list is available in Scopus.
