Chuangxia Huang

Chuangxia Huang is a Professor with the College of Mathematics and Computing Science, Changsha University of Science and Technology, China. He received the B.S. degree in mathematics from the National University of Defense Technology of China, in 1999, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in applied mathematics from Hunan University of China, in 2002 and 2006, respectively. He was a Visiting Scholar at the Department of Mathematics, Southeast University, Nanjing, China, from September 2008 to July 2009. From August 2009 to August 2010, he was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Applied Mathematics, University of Western Ontario, London, ON, Canada. He has authored more than 60 papers in international journals. His current research interests include dynamics of neural networks, stability theory of functional differential equations, financial econometrics, and financial risk management.
