Chris Lacor

Chris Lacor received an M.S. degree in electromechanical engineering from Vrije Universiteit Brussel (1979), Ph.D. degree in engineering (promoter: Professor C. Hirsch) from the same university (1986). He serves as a Professor at the Department of Fluid Mechanics at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (1991). His areas of expertise are among CFD, large Eddy simulations, uncertainty quantification, biological flows, and polynomial chaos. He is an Honorary Member of the National Committee Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, Belgian Academy of Sciences, a Fellow of the Flemish Academy of Sciences (VLAC), and a Member of ECCOMAS CFD Committee.
