Kung Jeng Wang is a Professor and the Chairman of the Department of Industrial Management at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan Tech). He received his Ph.D. degree in industrial engineering, an M.S. degree in computer science and in industrial engineering from University of Wisconsin at Madison (USA), an M.S. degree in mechanical engineering, and a B.A. degree in industrial engineering from Chung-Yuan Christian University (Taiwan). He joined the Program on Case Method and Participant-Centered Learning offered by Harvard Business School (USA). He was a Visiting Scholar in Dresden University of Technology (Germany) and University of Wisconsin at Madison (USA). His research interests are in the area of technology and operations management, intelligent systems, and supply chain management. He has published more than fifty academic journal papers in the area of his research, edited two books, and served on the Editorial Advisory Board for several international journals.
