Hongwei Sun
Hongwei Sun earned his Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, China, in 1998. Prior to joining UML, he worked as a research scientist at MIT, leading the development of MEMS rocket engine (MIT Microengine) sponsored by DARPA, NASA, and so forth. He has worked in the field of micro-/nanoscale thermal transport for nine years. His present research focuses on single- and two-phase flow and heat transfer in microchannels, thermal transport in nanostructured fluids, and NEMS.
