Paul Cristea

Paul Dan Cristea graduated from the Faculty of Electronics, Politehnica University of Bucharest, 1962, the Faculty of Physics, University of Bucharest, 1969, and has the Ph.D. degree in physics, PUB, 1970. His research and teaching activities include topics like digital signal and image processing, genomic signals, neural and evolutionary systems, evolutionary intelligent agents, intelligent e-learning environments. He is author or coauthor of more then 130 published papers, 11 patents, and contributed to more than 20 books. Professor Cristea is the Director of the Biomedical Engineering Center of PUB, the Director of the Romanian Bioinformatics Society, and a Corresponding Member of the Romanian Academy.
