David Goldblum, M.D., serves as the Head of anterior segment and oculoplastics at the Department of Ophthalmology at the University Hospital Basel with special research interests in glaucoma, equipment development, and ophthalmic pharmacology. He graduated in 1995 from the University of Basel and was awarded his specialization in ophthalmology and ophthalmic surgery after residency at the University Hospital Bern in 2000. He worked as an Assistant Professor at the Mount Sinai Hospital, New York, NY, USA. He has made a multitude of specialization training and has been honored with various awards from the industry and the scientific community. He also has some discoveries patented to his name. He is also a Member of the editorial board for Ophthalmic Research (Karger Publishers) and serves as a Reviewer of several renowned ophthalmological journals.
