Ramon Bautista

Dr. Bautista is Associate Chairman and Associate Professor of Neurology, University of Florida-Jacksonville where he is also Director of the Comprehensive Epilepsy Program. Dr. Bautista finished medical school at the University of the Philippines. He completed his residency at Washington University and fellowships at Emory University and Yale University. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, the American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology, and the Philippine Neurological Association. Dr. Bautista completed his MBA at Jacksonville University and is a Certified Physician Executive of the American College of Physician Executives. Dr. Bautista’s research interests are in the field of clinical epilepsy, clinical neurophysiology, and health-related issues in epilepsy care. Dr. Bautista has edited the book, Epilepsy: A Century of Discovery. He has also published original articles that appear in several peer-reviewed journals that include Neurology, Epilepsia, Epilepsy and Behavior, Epilepsy Research, and Seizure.
