Camilo A. Arancibia-Bulnes

Dr. Camilo A. Arancibia Bulnes was born in Santiago, Chile in 1969. He became a Mexican citizen in 1993, and received a PhD in physics from CINVESTAV-IPN, Merida, in 1998. Since then he has been involved in research on solar concentrating systems. He currently works as a senior researcher at CIE-UNAM, Temixco, Mexico. His interest areas include solar concentrators, concentrated solarpowerr, optical and thermal processes in solar thermal systems, solar process heat, and solar chemistry. He has been involved in the recent development of two important solar facilities in Mexico: the 36 kW High Radiative Flux solar Furnace (HRFSF), in Temixco, and the Heliostat Test Field (HTF), in Hermosillo. Currently, he lives in Hermosillo, where he coordinates R&D activities at the HTF.
