Aleksander Zidansek

Dr. Aleksander Zidanšek is researcher at Jozef Stefan Institute, Secretary General of the Jozef Stefan International Postgraduate School, and Professor of Physics at University of Maribor, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology. Dr. Zidanšek holds Ph.D. and Master Degree in Physics with specialization in solid state physics and Master Degree in Business Administration, with specialization in sustainable development management. He visited Montana State University with Prof. V. H. Schmidt in 1995/1996 with a Fulbright Grant for research, and Synchrotrone Trieste in 1997/1998. Membership in professional associations: Member of Society of Mathematicians, Physicists and Astronomers since 1988, Member of Slovenian Association for the Club of Rome since 2000, Associate member of tt30 from 2001, Associate member of the Club of Rome since 2005, Fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science since 2012.
