Hiroyuki Tamemoto

Hiroyuki Tamemoto was born in Tokushima, Japan in 1961. He graduated at the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Medicine, Tokyo, Japan in 1986. He worked as a Scientist in the Institute for Adult Disease, Asahi Life Foundation in 1990–1992. He worked as a Physician-Scientist in University of Tokyo Hospital in 1993–1997. Tamemoto served as a Lecturer in the Institute for Molecular and Cellular Regulation, Gunma University, Gunma, Japan in 1997, the Department of Comprehensive Medicine, Saitama Medical Center, Jichi Medical University, Shimotsuke, Japan in 2000–2006, and Department of Biochemistry, Jichi Medical University in 2006. Tamemoto received a Ph.D. degree from Jichi Medical University. Presently, he is an associate professor and is interested in diabetes mellitus and its complications.
