Haimin Zhang

Haimin Zhang received his Ph.D. degree from the Dalian University of Technology, Dalian, Liaoning, China, in 2008. Then, he joined the Griffith University, South East, QLD, Australia, as a Postdoctoral Fellow under the supervision of Professor Huijun Zhao, in 2009. Currently, he serves as Griffith University Research Fellow in Australia. To date, he has published over 40 research papers in internationally referred journals, such as Advanced Materials Journal, J Journal of the American Chemical Society, and Langmuir. Currently, his research activities are mainly focused on synthesis and characterization of functional nanomaterials for solar energy conversion and storage applications, synthesis and characterization of multifunctional inorganic membrane for wastewater and recycled water biohazards removal, the development of new photoelectrocatalytic technique for instant disinfection and rapid decomposition of pathogenic biohazards, and fundamental photoelectrocatalysis processes of nanostructured photocatalysts.
