John W. Wright
John W. Wright received his Ph.D. degree in neuroscience from Michigan State University, East Lansing, USA in 1971. He currently serves as a Professor at the Departments of Psychology, Veterinary and Comparative Anatomy, Pharmacology, and Physiology, as well as the Neuroscience and Biotechnology Programs at Washington State University, Pullman, USA. He joined Washington State University after a faculty appointment at Fordham University, New York, USA. He also worked as a Research Consultant at St. Barnabas Hospital, Livingston, USA. He is an internationally recognized expert of physiology and behavior of brain peptides involved in neural plasticity, dementia, and cardiovascular dysfunctions. He has served in peer-review committees for the National Science Foundation and the American Heart Association. He is a Cofounder of M3 Biotechnology, LLC, a biotechnology company located in Pullman, USA, focusing on research and development of new drugs to treat Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson's disease, solid tumor cancers, and dermal wounds. He belongs also to the Editorial Board of The Open Enzyme Inhibition Journal.
