Hui-Jun Wang

Hui-Jun Wang received his B.S. degree from Peking University in 1986. Dr. Wang got his Ph.D. degree in 1991 from The Institute of Atmospheric Physics (IAP), the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), China, where he worked as an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor in 1994, 1996, respectively. Currently, he is a Professor and Director-General at the same institution. Dr. Wang received many awards such as Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) Natural Science Awards (1998, First Grade, the 5th contributor); Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) Outstanding Youth Awards (2001); the National Science Awards (2005, Second Grade, the 2nd contributor). His research interests include climate variability and predictability.
