Martin Safo

Martin Safo holds a Ph.D. degree. He is an Associate Professor of medicinal chemistry, Institute for Structural Biology and Drug Discovery. His areas of expertise include X-ray crystallography of macromolecules, hemoglobin-based drug design to treat sickle cell disease or ischemic-related diseases, and metabolism and regulation of vitamin B6.
