Gennian Ge

Gennian Ge received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mathematics from the Suzhou University, Suzhou, Jiangsu, China, in 1993 and 1996, respectively. Thereafter, he became a member of the Suzhou University. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Computer Science, Concordia University, Montreal, QC, Canada, between September 2001 and August 2002, and a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science, University of Vermont, Burlington, Vt, USA, from September 2002 to February 2004. Since then, he has been a Full Professor at the Department of Mathematics, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China. His research interests include the constructions of combinatorial designs and their applications to codes and crypts. Dr. Ge is currently an Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Combinatorial Designs, the Open Mathematics Journal, and Advances and Applications in Discrete Mathematics. Moreover, he received the 2006 Hall Medal from the Institute of Combinatorics and its Applications.
