Lenwood W. Hayman

Dr. Hayman is a health psychologist specializing in the social determinants of health disparities. His primary area of focus currently centers on the socioeconomic influences on diseases and chronic conditions. With such research interest he has promoted the development of expertise in both survey and laboratory-based research projects in addition to intervention efficacy evaluation. He is an expert on research on the burden overweight/obesity on health. Dr. Hayman is currently the Paul B. Cornely Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Research on Ethnicity, Culture and Health, located in the School of Public Health at the University of Michigan.
