Ting-Hua Yi
Ting-Hua Yi is an associate professor of the Research Center for Structural Health Monitoring and Control in the Faculty of Infrastructure Engineering, the Dalian University of Technology (DUT), [city, country]. He received his Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the Yantai University [city, country] in 2002 and his Ph.D. degree in disaster prevention and mitigation engineering of DUT, China, in 2006. He currently serves as a key member and Secretary for “Structural Safety Monitoring and Control - Science Fund for Creative Research Groups of the National Natural Science Foundation of China” and a core member and correspondent for the “Program of Introducing Talents of Discipline to Universities”. His current research includes structural health monitoring and safety assessment. He has hosted 15 national and provincial longitudinal projects, published 2 book and 3 proceedings of international conferences, authored or coauthored 79 papers, and obtained 9 Chinese national invention patents and 2 computer software copyright-registration certificates on these subjects. He won the Second Prize of “China National Science and Technology Progress Award” and other provincial S&T awards in his academic career.
