Z. Sheng Guo

Z. Sheng Guo was born in Fujian, China, in 1962. He received the B.S. degree in microbiology from Xiamen University, Xiamen, Fujian, China, and the Ph.D. degree in microbiology and molecular genetics from Harvard University, Mass, USA, in 1990. He received a postdoctoral training in gene regulation and gene therapy at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and Baylor College of Medicine. He worked as a Senior Staff Fellow on immunotherapy of cancer at the National Cancer Institute of the NIH for many years. Since 2002, he has been a faculty member at the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pa, USA. He is mainly interested in cancer therapy and biology, focusing on oncolytic virotherapy, immunotherapy, and epigenetics of cancer. He has been a Reviewer as well as an author for at least a dozen of journals, such as Cancer Research, Oncogene, International Journal of Cancer, and Gene Therapy.
