Leszek Olszowy received his Ph.D. degree (1996) from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poznań, Poland. Olszowy is a Professor of mathematics at the Rzeszów University of Technology in Rzeszów, Poland, and a Professor of mathematics at the State Higher School of Technology and Economics, Jarosław, Poland. Olszowy specializes in such branches of nonlinear analysis as measures of noncompactness in some Fréchet function spaces, theory of nonlinear integral, differential and functional equations on unbounded intervals, and semilinear equations of evolution in Banach spaces. He is the author of over 30 research papers in nonlinear analysis and geometry of normed spaces.
