Mirosław Mączka

Mirosław Mą czka was born on May 31, 1964. In 1989 he received the M.S. and Chem.Eng. degrees and in 1995 the D.Chem. He became a Professor in chemistry in 2002 and then in 2009 a Full Professor. Mą czka has held the position of Full Professor at the Institute of Low Temperature and Structure Research, Polish Academy of Sciences, Wroclaw, Poland. His abroad research stays include that in the Netherlands at the University of Utrecht, throughout the years from 1993 to 2000, in Brazil at the Department of Physics (2002, 2007, and 2009), in Japan at the University of Tsukuba (1998-1999 as a Postdoc; 2002, 2006, 2010 short-term stays). Mą czka has a wide experience in infrared and the Raman and Brillouin studies of vibrational properties of crystals and phase transitions
