Vijai Singh

Vijai Singh currently works as a Researcher at the Molecular Diagnostics and Biotechnology Laboratory at the Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture, Lucknow, India. He has worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute of Systems and Synthetic Biology, University of Evry, Evry, France. He received his Ph.D. degree in 2009 in biotechnology from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, India. He pursued his career in biotechnology as an SRF from National Bureau of Fish Genetic resources, Lucknow, India. His research interests include the development of molecular and immunoassays for disease diagnosis and also control of pathogens. His further interests are the rewiring and creation of gene regulatory networks for better understanding of cellular mechanism and also designing and redesigning of biosynthetic pathways for production value-added products. He has published 2 text books, 2 book chapters, and 47 research articles. He serves as a reviewer of many journals and also a member of international societies.
