Davide Dardari

Davide Dardari received his Laurea degree in electronic engineering (summa cum laude) and his Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering and computer science from the University of Bologna, Italy, in 1993 and 1998, respectively. In the same year, he joined the Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informatica e Sistemistica to develop his research activity in the area of digital communications. From 2000 to 2005, he has been a Research Associate at the University of Bologna. He held the position of Lecturer and contract Professor of electrical communications and digital transmission and telecommunications systems at the same University. Now he is an Associate Professor at the University of Bologna at Cesena, Italy. During winter 2005, he was researching as a Research Affiliate at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, USA. His research interests are in OFDM systems, ultrawide bandwidth communication and localization, wireless sensor networks, wideband wireless LAN. He serves IEEE as an Editor for IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications and as a TPC Member for the Wireless Communications Symposium at IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC 2004–ICC 2006) and PIMRC 2006. He is a Cochair of the International Conference on Ultra-Wideband (ICUWB 2006) and ICC 2007 Wireless Communications Symposium.
