Andrés Wigdorovitz
Andrés Wigdorovitz serves as the Coordinator of vaccine area from the Virology Institute, CICVyA INTA, Buenos Aires, Argentina and he serves as a Senior Researcher from CONICET. His current scientific project involves the development of recombinant viral vaccines and evaluation of new platforms for protein expression. He received his Ph.D. degree in 1996 at the Buenos Aires University (Argentina), in science immunology studying FMDV antigen presentation. He carried out his postdoctoral training in plant expression systems at Oviedo University, Spain and Genetic Institute of INTA. Dr Wigdorovitz is coauthor of 30 papers in Journals with Impact Index, coauthor of 5 patents, more than 20 Vinculation agreements with national and international companies. He works also as a reviewer for different international journals and a Member of different international committees for alternative expression systems.
