Narendra N. Ghosh
Narendra N. Ghosh serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry of Birla Institute of Technology-Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus, India. Ghosh has received his M.S. degree (1994) and Ph.D. degree (1998) from Indian Institute of Technology-Kharagpur, India. During his doctoral study with Professor P. Pramanik, he has developed an aqueous sol-gel method for synthesis of variety of nanosilicate-based materials. He has pursued his postdoctoral study in the Center for Composite Materials at University of Delaware, Chemistry Department of University of Tennessee at Knoxville and Chemical and Materials Engineering Department of University of Kentucky at Lexington, USA. Dr. Ghosh and his research group are currently involved in developing simple but novel chemical synthetic methodologies for preparation of magnetic nanoferrites, polybenbenzoxazine-based nanocomposites, and mesoporous alumina and silicates. Dr. Ghosh has published more than 50 original research articles in peer-reviewed international journals and proceedings such as Progress in Polymer Science, Journal of polymer Science-Part A, Chemical communications, Journal of the American Ceramic Society, Powder Technology, Journal of Porous Materials, Nanostructured Materials, Journal of the experimental nanoscience, Catalysis Communications, and so forth. He is twice the recipient of TUBITAK visiting scientist fellowship award in 2006 and 2009 to conduct research in Professor Yusuf Yagci’s Laboratory at Istanbul Technical University, Turkey. He is one the members of the Editorial Team of Journal of Chemical Engineering and Material Science and reviewer of several international journals in the field of materials science and nanomaterials. Dr. Ghosh has organized many international conferences.
