Zhengxi Tan

Zhengxi Tan earned his Ph.D. degree in soil and water science from the University of Florida, Gainesville, Fla, USA. Tan is a Senior Environmental Scientist of ASRC research and technology solutions at the USGS EROS, Sioux Falls, SD, USA. He has worked on a range of scientific topics relating to environmental and agricultural sustainability in association with climate change and land disturbances. Especially, he focuses on understanding the mechanisms of soil carbon sequestration with conservation practices and evaluating the impacts of tillage and residue management on soil fertility and GHG emissions by incorporating meta-analysis and geoinformatics with biogeochemical modeling.
