Joel Ransom

Joel Ransom possesses degrees in agronomy and crop science from the Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah, USA (B.S. degree) and the University of Minnesota, Minn, USA (M.S. and Ph.D. degrees). He worked for 20 years for the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center as a Maize and Wheat Agronomist in Mexico, Kenya, and Nepal. Currently, he works as an Extension Specialist at the North Dakota State University with a focus on small grains (wheat, barley, and oats) and corn. Ransom's research interest and expertise lie in the control of parasitic weeds, crop production techniques, and variety testing.
