Joseph Kabara works as a Principal Investigator with TK Group, developing network management and security solutions. Previously, he was a Professor of telecommunications and networking at the University of Pittsburgh, lectured at Vanderbilt University, and was an Electronics Engineer at the National Institutes of Health Division of Computer Research and Technology, where he designed their networking infrastructure. Professor Kabara is a graduate of Vanderbilt (Ph.D. degree in electronics engineering, 1997), Johns Hopkins (M.S. degree in electronics engineering, 1991), and Marquette (B.S. degree in electronics engineering, 1987). His research has been supported by the National Science Foundation, National Institute of Standards and Technology, and Microsoft. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE.
