Allen L. Carl

Allen L. Carl holds an M.D. degree. He is a Professor of surgery and pediatrics at Albany Medical College. His clinical and research interests are in the field of spine deformity and spinal diseases. He has written and coauthored 75 peer-reviewed papers and 125 national and international presentations. He is a Member of SRS, AAOS, AOA, NASS, and ASIA. He has been cited in Best Doctors from 1996 to 2010. He serves on the NYS Spinal Cord Injury Research Board. He has 12 patents and is involved in new innovation development. He serves as an Associate Editor of The Spine Journal. He is involved in clinical care, research, and teaching activites.
