Pekik Argo Dahono

Pekik Argo Dahono received the Engineer degree from the Institute of Technology Bandung (ITB), Indonesia, in 1985, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees of engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, in 1992 and 1995, respectively, all in electrical engineering. He was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, in 1997 and 1998. He was a Visiting Professor at the Science University of Tokyo, Tokyo Denki University, and Institute National Polytechnic Touluse, in 2002, 2004, and 2008, respectively. He received the Best Paper Award from the Institute of Electrical Engineers, Japan, in 1992. He received an Engineering Award from the Institution of Engineers, Indonesia, in 2006. He received also ASEAN Outstanding Engineering Achievement Award in 2006. He received the Best Paper Award from ITB Journal on Engineering and Science in 2008. He has been a Lecturer at ITB since 1986 and became an Associate Professor in 2001. At present, he is the Head of Electrical Energy Conversion Research Laboratory, School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, ITB. His fields of interest are power electronics, electrical machinery, power quality, and renewable power generation system. He is registered as a Professional Engineer in Indonesia and in ASEAN. He is a Senior Member of IEEE.
