Thomas Mueller

Thomas Mueller attended the Medical School at Philipps University, Marburg, Germany, becoming qualified as an M.D. and Privatdozent (Ph.D. equivalent). At Philipps, he completed his residency and combined fellowships in intensive care medicine and in nephrology. More recently, he served as a Research Fellow in the Laboratory of Immunogenetics/Molecular Immunology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School with Professor David Perkins. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Alberta in the Division of Nephrology and Transplantation Immunology. His research focuses on lymphocyte depletion and immune reconstitution, immune monitoring, and gene expression profiles in organ transplantation.
