Marzia Caproni

Marzia Caproni graduated with first class honors in medicine at the University of Pisa, Italy, in 1985. She got her specialty in Dermatovenereology in 1988 and in immunology and allergology in 2004. Moreover, she get her Ph.D. degree in experimental dermatology in 1998. She is currently leading the research group for cutaneous immunopathology at the University of Florence. Her major interests are autoimmune and inflammatory skin diseases, including dermatitis herpetiformis. She is the author of more than 100 papers published in international journals and participated as a speaker and a chair to several national and international congresses.
