Yasar Becerikli

Yasar Becerikli received the B.S. degree with honors from the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department at Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 1991, the M.S. degree from the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department at the Istanbul Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 1994, and the Ph.D. degree from the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department at the Sakarya University, Sakarya, Turkey, in 1998. He was a Research Assistant at Sakarya University, Turkey, from 1992 to 2000. Moreover, he worked as an Assistant Professor of computer engineering at Kocaeli University, Izmit, Turkey, from 2000 to 2005. currently, he works as an Associate Professor of computer engineering, Kocaeli University, Izmit, Turkey. He served also as a Senior Researcher at Marmara Research Center (MRC), TUBITAK, Izmit, Turkey, from 2003 to 2004. His current research interests include intelligent systems and control, neurofuzzy systems and optimal control, computational intelligence, optimization theory, wavelet networks, stochastic process control, medical/signal and image processing, and embedded systems. Dr. Becerikli serves as an Associate Editor of ICIC Express Letters: An International Journal of Research and Surveys (innovative computing, information, and control), and also serves as a reviewer for more than 30 journals such as the IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks, IEEE Transactions on Control System Technology, IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics-Part C, ASME Journal of Dynamic Systems, Measurement, and Control, Chaos (AIP), Computers and Electrical Engineering, The Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering, ISA Transactions, Advances in Engineering Software, the Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, Circuits, Systems & Signal Processing, Neural Computing & Applications (NC&A), Digital Signal Processing, Neurocomputing, and Applied Soft Computing.
