D. Murzin

Dmitry Murzin received the M.S. degree, with honors, in chemical engineering from Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology, Moscow, in 1986; Ph.D. degree from Karpov Physico-Chemical Institute, Moscow, in 1989; and Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Karpov Physico-Chemical Institute, in 1999. During 1986-1992, he worked in Karpov Physico-Chemical Institute, and during 1992-1994, postdoctoral experience at Université Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg, France, Åbo Akademi University, Turku, Finland; and during 1995-2000, he was with BASF; since 2000 he is a Professor in chemical technology, Åbo Akademi University, Turku, Finland. He is author and coauthor of over 300 journal articles on kinetics and catalysis and a monograph catalytic kinetics (Elsevier, 2005). He had teaching experience of courses in heterogeneous catalysis, chemical technology, bioreaction engineering, chemical kinetics.
