Jörg Spiegel

Jörg Spiegel was born in September 1967 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany. From 1988 to 1995, he studies medicine at the University of Heidelberg, Germany. He recieved his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Neurology at the University of Heidelberg, Germany, entitled “Polygraphic frequency analysis of tremor” under the supervision of Professor H.-M. Meinck. From 1995 to 1996, he was a Medical Assistent at the Institute of Physiology of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (Professor R.-D. Treede). Moreover, he organized two studies: “Laser-evoked potentials in patients and healthy volunteers” and “Functional magnetic resonance imaging in healthy volunteers.” Since 2005, he has been the Medical Assistent Director of movement disorders at the Department of Neurology of the Saarland University (Dr. K. Schimrigk, Dr. A. Haass, Dr. G. Becker, Priv.-Doz., Dr. S. Jung, and Dr. K. Fassbender). He has experiences in clinical trials according to ICH-GCP.
