Tadeusz Kaczorowski

Tadeusz Kaczorowski was born in Morag, Poland, in 1962. He earned his Master's and doctoral degrees in molecular biology from University of Gdansk , Gdansk, Poland, in 1986 and 1991, respectively. In 1992-1996, T. Kaczorowski was Research Associate at McArdle Laboratory for Cancer Research, University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA. In 1996, T. Kaczorowski was appointed as Head of the Department of Microbiology, University of Gdansk, Gdansk, Poland. Presently he is a Professor. He is mainly interested in biology of bacterial DNA restriction-modification systems and in development of new DNA sequencing approaches.
