Christoph F. Mecklenbräuker

Christoph F. Mecklenbräuker received the Dipl.-Ing. degree in electrical engineering from Vienna University of Technology, Vienna, Austria, in 1992 and the Dr.-Ing. degree from Ruhr University, Bochum, Germany, in 1998. He joined Siemens, Vienna, from 1997 to 2000. From 2000 to 2006, he served as a Senior Researcher at the Telecommunications Research Center Vienna (FTW), Vienna, Austria. In 2006, Mecklenbräuker joined the Institute of Telecommunications as a Full Professor at the Vienna University of Technology, Vienna, Austria. Since 2009, he leads the Christian Doppler Laboratory for Wireless Technologies for Sustainable Mobility. His research interests include waves, sparsity, vehicular connectivity, ultrawideband radio, and MIMO techniques.
