David Dyment received his M.D. degree from the University of Calgary, AB, Canada, in 2006, and he is currently a senior resident in medical genetics. He completed his D.Phil. degree at the University of Oxford, UK, in 2005. The focus of his research was the genetic contribution of the HLA to multiple sclerosis as part of the Canadian Collaborative Project on the Genetic Susceptibility to Multiple Sclerosis. He has also completed an M.S. degree in medical genetics from the University of British Columbia. He continues to be active in research with interests in the genetics of complex disease and the immunogenetics of multiple sclerosis.
