Jose M. Guisan

J. Guisan obtained the Ph.D. degree in biochemistry, University Autónoma of Madrid, in 1979. He works as a Full Professor at the Spanish Research Council (CSIC). His research activities cover a total of 300 papers in peer-reviewed Journals (in more than 90 % as a corresponding author), 25 patent applications, and 34 Ph.D. theses supervised, 288 ISI articles, 19.5 cites /article, H index= 39 (SCOPUS). His research topics include enzyme engineering (purification, immobilization, and stabilization of industrial enzymes) and engineering of enzyme biotransformations: fine chemistry, food chemistry, and analytic chemistry.
