Kazuhiro Ishii

Kazuhiro Nishii was born in September 30, 1960. He obtained an M.D. degree from the Toyama Medical and Pharmaceutical University, Japan, in 1987 and Ph.D. degree from the Mie University, Japan, in 1992. He worked as a Resident at the Second Department of Internal Medicine, the Mie University School of Medicine from 1992 to 1994 and Postdoctoral Fellow at the Leukaemia Research Fund Centre, the Institute of Cancer Research, London, UK, from 1994 to 1997. He has been serving as a Part-Time Instructor of hematology and oncology at the Mie University School of Medicine since 2008. He joined a number of societies including the Japanese Society of Internal Medicine, the Japanese Society of Hematology, and the Japanese Society of Clinical Hematology. His clinical and research field includes Leukemia, hematological malignancy, and leukemogenesis.
