Tsuyoshi Ide works as the Manager of Analytics and Optimization, IBM Research - Tokyo, Japan. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in theoretical physics from the University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan, in 1997 and 2000, respectively. His Ph.D. dissertation was about a theoretical study of optical properties of strongly-correlated electronics systems. He joined IBM Research - Tokyo in 2000. Since then he has engaged in many projects in display technologies, data mining, and machine learning. His recent research interests include anomaly detection and trajectory analysis.
